Second Paper Out in February 2023!

HARM's second paper, by Elissa Mailänder from the SciencesPo, will be out in February 2023. Taking a video of the Serbian paramilitary Scorpions unit recording killing as a starting point and drawing upon her own research on WWII and the German genocide, she probes the methodological and ethical challenges of visual sources (videos, photographs) that mediate acts and experiences of violence.
